Ahead of their weekend oriental derby against Nigeria champions Enyimba International Football Club of Aba, Abia Warriors FC stepped up preparations as they continued their training session this morning, which was followed by a brief meeting between the players and the technical crew.
While speaking with the Club’s Media shortly after, the Technical Adviser Coach Erasmus Onuh stated that the Warriors have put the draw against Sporting Lagos FC behind, and they are ready to lock horns with the two-time African champions.
“We have put the home draw against Sporting Lagos behind us, and we are prepared and ready to fire from all angles.
“We take each game at a time and now that we’re done with the mid-week fixture, we are heading to Aba to get a tangible result.”
The quartet of Jerry Ogu, Ugonna Felix, Goodluck Ozioma and Chukwunalu Domingo are still on the treatment table.
