The Delta State Ministry of Health has announced the commencement of the 2023 Nursing and Midwifery Council Examination (NMCN), from Tuesday, 7th November to Friday, 10th November, in Delta State.
A Statement by the Ministry says all participating students have successfully received their index numbers and are fully prepared for the examination.
The Delta State University ICT Centre, Hall 1 and 2, is the designated venue for the 2023 Council examinations.
Meanwhile, the Department of Midwifery in Asaba has recently received the prestigious Award of Commendation from the Board of Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
According to a statement by the State Ministry of Health, the recognition is in the light of their exceptional achievement, securing a remarkable 100% score in the 2023 Professional Examination conducted by the Council.
The school authority commended the dedication of the department to education, training and excellence.
“We also use this opportunity to commend the efforts of the Principal, and Lecturers of the Department of Nursing, as well as the Honourable Commissioner for Health and the Director, Nursing Services for their good works and commitment to the steady improvements of the health sector in the state” the statement added.
