Appeal Court victory is for all Deltans – Oborevwori

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has said his administration would soon turn the state to construction in readiness to do more for the people of the state.

Governor Oborevwori stated this while addressing journalists shortly after a thanksgiving service held at Living Faith Church, Osubi, to celebrate his victory at the Appeal Court in Lagos.

The Governor called on the opposition to join him to work for the people and betterment of the state stressing that ceaseless post election litigation was uncalled for.

He said the ground-breaking ceremony to flag-off the 78 billion naira contracts awarded to Julius Berger for the construction of three flyovers, cloverleaf, pedestrian bridges and road expansion in Effurun and Warri metropolis will take place on Monday,the 27th of this month.

Governor Oborevwori said appreciation was one sure way to get more blessings from God affirming that he would not deviate from worshipping God in truth and in spirit.

The governor also thanked God for a successful burial ceremony of his mother-in-law and journey mercies granted to guests.

He said the Appeal Court victory was for all Deltans including APC members promising to work for the peace and development of all parts of the state.

Earlier, State Pastor of Living Faith Church, Pastor Alexander Cornelius in his brief sermon, said everything in the kingdom of God answers to the word of God.

He commended Governor Oborevwori for always returning to thank God for every victory pointing out that appreciation opens more doors for blessings.

He said God would never stop working when men continue to give Him glory and urged Christians to continue giving thanks and glory to God “because He is a God of justice who rules in the affairs of men and because no one can stop the move of God.

Governor Oborevwori was joined by several dignitaries including, Senator Ned Nwoko and wife Regina, Speaker of the State House of Assembly,Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, Secretary to the State Government, Dr Kingsley Emu, Commissioners, other top government functionaries, Socialite Obi Cubana, Managing Director of UTM Oil and Gas, Mr Julius Rone, among others.
