CMPG Congratulate Newly Sworn-in Commissioners; Laud Oborevwori’s palliative for Delta workers

Coalition for Media Politics and Governance, CMPG, has congratulated the newly inaugurated Commissioners of the Delta State Government by His Excellency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, JP.

The foremost media pressure group in a congratulatory message jointly signed by acting Chairman, Engr. Emmanuel Mormah Chuks, Deputy Chairman South, Mr Robinson Ekengbuda, and State Publicity Secretary, Onajite Malcolm Tagbarha, FHNR, immediately after the swearing-in ceremony at the Dome Event Center Asaba on the 22nd of August, 2023, described the composition of the State Cabinet members comprising of credible men and women with youthful vigour and energies, complemented by a healthy mix of men and women with wisdom, experience and foresight.

The group assured that with this quality of men and women assembled by the governor to drive home his MORE agenda, Deltans should expect more meaningful developments. Adding that governor Oborevwori’s desire to acquire electric vehicles for transportation, as well as the massive palliatives rolled out to support Delta workers with staggering working days, will definitely cushion the impact of the fuel subsidy removal.

CMPG urged Deltans to continue to join hands to support the governor’s policies and programmes, adding that with his impressive records since his assumption of office, it is crystal clear that he is determined to positively impact on the lives of Deltans.

The group thanked governor Oborevwori for his giant strides within the past two months in office, saying that his appointments further exposed his unique foresight and competence to put together a vibrant team for the smooth actualization of his M.O.R.E Agenda, meant to advance Delta.
