The need for all to see themselves as stakeholders in inspiring women inclusivity have been emphasized.

The State Cordinator Fifty Fifty (50/50) Action Women Group for Gender Accountability and Equity, Comrade Patricia Gbemudu stated this in an interview shortly after a rally to mark the 2024 International Women’s Day in Asaba, the Delta State capital.

Comrade Gbemudu said everyone has a role to play in ensuring the inclusion of women in every sector of the economy, irrespective of gender, age or religion, and urged all to invest in the female gender, as that would ensure accelerated progress

She urged Deltans to always call out poor practices against women anytime they noticed any form of discrimination against women, and to take action when women are not treated equitably.

Comrade Gbemudu congratulated women on their special day and urged them to remain resilient and to keep updating themselves, so they could remain relevant in the scheme of things.
