ISORO OF ABAVO KINGDOM Congratulates Hon. Victor Okoh on his New Appointment.

…says appointment well deserved.

Two time President General, Abavo Clan Union, Chief Agbejiagwe Jonathan Ohioya has congratulated Mr. Victor Okoh, on his appointment as Chairman, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency.

In a statement he signed and made available to journalists, Mr Agbejiagwe described the appointment as well deserved.
“Surely the glory of the later is always sweet and meaningful. Our elders sealed it with this saying “Eki igini uwakoriani owehi”. It is interpreted thus: “until it is evening you cannot blame the day”. I rejoice with you on this great feat.
“My very special thanks goes to our brother, father, leader and immediate past Governor Delta State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi A. Okowa and His Excellency, Elder Francis Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State, and the leader of our great Party PDP. I appreciate and thank everyone in the chain that made the dream come through” he said.

Mr. Agbejiagwe who is also the Isoro of Abavo Kingdom, urged Hon. Okoh to uphold the virtues of humility, respect, and commitment to duty, which he is known for, to enable him succeed in his new assignment.

The statement added “Yes a Chairman is always a Chairman. My dear Chairman as we celebrate let me quickly remind you not to forget the good attributes of humility, respect for seniors and elders and commitment to duty for which you are known and respected. You must not push away the ladder with which you climbed because you may need it to climb the next more juicy tree.

“Be choicy with words now so that you will not say things that you will look for Cutlass to chase those that will remind you of them. Always remember that the walls, trees and ground we walk on, have eyes, ears and brain. There will surely be tomorrow. Armed with these, I am sure this appointment will skyrocket you.

“My dear Chairman, I remember your days as the Boss of Ika South Local Government Council. You were able to harvest tomatoes in the desert even without fertilizer and other tools. You were able to carve a niche with marvellous positive exploits that endeared you to the heart of many including your foes. You gave and achieved much that time because it is your nature and not because there is abundance of resources. I know this time around you will expand and consolidate on your legacies.

“Surely the good people of Abavo Kingdom, Ika South Local Government Area, Delta State and even beyond are happy and solidly behind you. March on my brother.
“Once again CONGRATULATIONS.”
