NITDA Calls for more Awareness on the NDLF

National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has called for increased awareness on the National Digital Literacy Framework.

The Director General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi stated at the National Digital Literacy Framework (NDLF) Stakeholders Awareness Session which held at the Nordic Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos state.

Inuwa, represented by Dr. Falilat Jimoh, Head Digital Inclusion, NITDA South West Zonal Office, Lagos, noted that the session had stakeholders across various sectors to develop engaging and accessible content that catered to the specific needs outlined in the NDLF.

He said the event was in tandem with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration’s commitment towards enabling a digital economy for the nation.

The framework has a mid-term achievement target of 70% by 2027 and 95% by 2030 for digital literacy in Nigeria.
