NITDA Warns of an Information Stealer Malware

The National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, has warned members of the public about a malware that steals sensitive information.

In an advisory posted on it’s social media handle on Facebook titled – ADVISORY ON INFO STEALER MALWARE⚠️⚠️, NITDA described the malware as a cyber security threat.

It said the Info Stealer Malware is designed to infiltrate systems and pilfer sensitive information, including personal and confidential data.

The advisory read “We would like to draw your attention to a critical cyber security threat known as Info Stealer Malware.

“This type of malicious software has become increasingly rampant in recent times, posing a significant threat to both organizations and individuals.

” Info Stealer Malware is designed to covertly infiltrate systems and pilfer sensitive information, including personal and confidential data.

The agency in a well designed flyer, also gave information on how the malware operated and citizens and organizations could protect themselves from the malware.
