Plane Collision: 2 Confirmed Dead in Brisbane.
Two people have died after two light planes collided mid-air at an airfield north of Brisbane in Australia.
Police confirmed two people in one of the aircraft died after a mid-air collision at Caboolture Airfield.
The pilot of the second plane survived the crash “relatively uninjured”.
Queensland Ambulance rushed to the scene just after 10.30am on Friday after the light aircraft crash.
Queensland Police’s Superintendent Mr Paul Ready said officers are determining who was onboard the two aircraft, adding that the incident occurred low to the ground at the eastern end of the airfield.
Mr. Ready said the two people that died were in an aircraft that was taking off at the eastern end of the airfield.
Report says that the pilot in the second aircraft is assisting police with the investigation.
