Political Appointments: CMPG Reassures Oborevwori on Her Unalloyed and Unflinching Support Towards Achieving His MORE Agenda
The Coalition For Media Politics and Governance, (CMPG), has reassured our Principal and Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, JP, of the group’s unflinching support and total commitment to his leadership and governance objectives as he moves to provide MORE meaningful developments for Deltans, through the on-going appointments in his administration.
The group in a press release jointly signed by Deputy Coordinator North, Engr. Emmanuel Chuks Mormah, Deputy Coordinator South, Mr Robinson Ekengbuda, and State Publicity Secretary, Hon Tagbarha Malcolm, FHNR, while describing Oborevwori as a grassroot leader who has sufficiently demonstrated capacity and inclusivity in his choice of appointments thus far, believes that the personal relationship between our highly revered Governor and the hardworking Chairman of CMPG, Olorogun (Barr.) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, and the issues regarding his appointment, will be sorted out.
CMPG stated that the excessive local content PDP Governor has the capacity, wisdom, knowledge and track records to deliver MORE meaningful developments as promised during the electioneering campaigns. Adding that they believe the Governor will definitely not forget the effort members of CMPG deployed painstakingly, prior, during and after the elections, and as such believe strongly that he will graciously request for more hands from CMPG to adequately cover all the Senatorial Districts since CMPG cuts across the State.
“Our principal and Governor has severally distinguished himself as an excellent team player with superlative street credibility. He is a grassroots politician and a detribalized Deltan with vast experience spanning three decades. Therefore, we believe in his capacity to make the right judgement on who gets what, when and how.
“His recent appointments, attests to the fact that he is a disciplined, prudent resource manager that is committed to the overall development of the State.
“We are encouraged that he will definitely remember everyone who has worked tirelessly and diligently towards his victory and the success of our great party in the scheme of things and is also mindful of the resources within the State to capture them,” the group said.
