Deltans have been advised to report men of the Operation Delta Hawk to appropriate quarters for sanction if they showcase unprofessional conduct in the line of duty.
The Direct General, Security Hon David Tonwe gave the advice while speaking with journalists at Government house on the allegation of unruly behaviour by some officers of Operation Delta Hawk.
Hon Tonwe said his office wil not condone unprofessionalism in the fight against crime and criminality across the state and called on Deltans to report any officer that extort money from them by observing the number inscribed on the vehicle(s) conveying them in addition to calling the phone numbers also on the patrol vans for immediate action.
He said securitymen have been placed on red alert in all parts of the State to maintain peace and order before,during and after the yuletide and advised mischief makers to relocate or be ready to face the full weight of the law.
He equally called on residents of the state to give useful information that could lead to the arrest of criminals to securitymen before they unleash their evil plans on innocent citizens.
Hon Tonwe said one of the cardinal goals of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration was to protect lives and property hence the need for Deltans to keep at bay any action capable of jeopardizing the peace enshrine in the MORE agenda.
