Wife Of Delta State Governor Kicks Off Activities Of Her Pet Project

The wife of the Delta State Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori has kicked off activities of her pet project, “You Matter Charity Foundation”, with awareness campaign on Mensural Hygiene.

She also distributed feminine hygiene products to young women.

At her hometown Evwreni, in Ughelli North Local government area, where the event held, Deaconess Oborevwori advised the beneficiaries to maintain proper during their monthly cycle to avoid infections, prepare ahead of the next month’s menstruation by keeping proper record of the previous month to avoid public embarrassment, while also warning against indiscriminate dumping of used sanitary pads.

She urged parents, particularly mothers to be sensitive to the needs of their female children to enable the girls attain full potentials in life.

The Governor’s wife pledged to ensure everyone feels the impact of the MORE Agenda of the present administration.

The wife of the Ughelli North Council Chairman, Chief Evelyn Adode, lauded Deaconess Oborevwori for the gesture.

In a brief sermon, Pastor Matthew urged all to embrace God to succeed in life, adding that the You Matter Charity Foundation was giving hope to the hopeless.

The event featured talks on the proper use of Sanitary Pads by a Consultant Pediatrician, Doctor Orezi Eyaru, and Doctor Eloho Oborevwori, while Deaconess Oborevwori led her entourage comprising wives of House of Assembly members and other political appointees to distribute feminine hygiene products to the people.

Some of the young women thanked the Governor’s wife for the gesture.
