Wife of Delta State Governor receives more sympathisers

The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Honourable Dennis Guwor and the wife of a former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Mrs Ndudi Elumelu were among personalities and groups who visited the Wife of the Delta State Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori to sympathize with her over the demise of her mother, Madam Agnes Ayetoma Ataga.

Other visitors alongside the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, were former Commissioners in the state, led by Honourable Emmanuel Amgbaduba ; officials of the Directorate of Government House and Protocol Asaba, led by the Permanent Secretary, Sir Eddy Ogidigbegbaje, and groups, including the Association of Education Secretaries of Nigeria, Delta State chapter; the Management of the state Schools of Nursing and the Ika Women in Politics ; the Maternal Sisters group and a former Chairman of the state Civil Service Commission, Chief Nkem Okwuofu.

Addressing the delegations, Deaconess Oborevwori said the sympathy of Deltans over her mother’s death had strengthened her.

She reassured the people that the MORE Agenda of the present administration would take Delta State to a higher level of development.

The sympathizers described the late Madam Agnes Ataga as an exceptional mother who left her footprints on the sands of time through the quality life she lived and the upbringing she instilled in her children, as well as the impact she made on the lives of many

They prayed God to give the family fortitude to bear the loss.

The visitors pledged support for the burial activities.
