Hon. Esenwah’s Aide Donates Food Items to Women in Illah

The Legislative Assistant to the Member Representing Oshimili North Local Government in the Delta State House of Assembly, Comrade Ofili Mac-Donald has donated food items to women of Umuogwu Village in Illah.

The items donated include tubers of Yam, Gallon of Oil and Salt.

Addressing the gathering, Comrade Mac-Donald said the gesture is to help cushion the effects of the present economic hardship.

He noted that the “Platform given to Him” by his boss – Hon. Frank Esenwa, had propelled him to give back to his people, bearing in mind that Charity began from home.

The legislative Assistant said women remained instrumental in managing homes, hence, the need to reach out to them.

He urged them to continue to pray for, and Support Hon. Esenwah in his efforts to ensure quality service delivery to the people of Oshimili North.

The PDP Chairman of the Ward, Barr. Nelson Odigwe Okonma, the Past Leader of the Legislative Arm of Oshimili North Local Government Area, Hon. Adim Henry Ofuase, and Ambassador Ikebuwa Patrick in their remarks, described the gesture s proactive and of great value, saying that the donor had distinguished himself from others.

They urged others to take a cue from him and reach out in their own way to their people.

The women thanked Comrade Mac-Donald for the gifts, and prayed for success in his life endeavors.

Representatives of the Illah Youths Association also attended the event.
