Naira Abuse Trial: Cubana Chief Priest Says He is Not Small.

After perfecting his N10 million bail condition with two sureties in like sum, businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, says he is not small and that money is water.

He stated this on an Instagram post shortly after his arraignment on Wednesday,

“Seeing all your messages and love. I’m so humbled. Now it’s confirmed CP (Cubana Priest) is not small. Money na water (sic),” he wrote.

The nightlife promoter, well known for his luxurious lifestyle, was accused of spraying and tampering with the naira at a social event — contrary to the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007.

Cubana was driven to the federal high court in Lagos for his trial on allegations bordering on naira abuse, around 8:45 am on Wednesday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) operatives under armed police escorts.

The anti-graft agency had on Tuesday filed a three-count charge against the social media celebrity.

The Federal High Court in Lagos State, granted him N10m bail with two sureties in like sum, after the celebrity bar man pleaded not guilty to tampering and abusing the naira during his trial

Cubana is also known for his affiliation with Davido, the Afrobeats singer.
