The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has announced that there has been no change in the price of premium motor spirit (PMS), petrol and diesel at its retail stations.
Spokesperson for NNPC, Femi Soneye, confirmed in a statement on Wednesday that the company had kept the prices of the commodity stable.
There had been speculation that the NNPC slashed its petrol pricing from N568 down to N560 per litre, and that the national oil company raised the diesel price to N920 per litre.
In his reactions, Soneye advised the public to disregard the speculations, saying they were false.
